You don't need to be permanent staff - all colleagues welcome
Non-JLR memberships can also be approved by the committee (usually friends or family of JLR colleagues)
We also encourage non-JLR committee members
Several members have, or have had their own boats, so discussions around ownership or maintenance are always welcome
Learn transferable skills - not limited to sailing
Contribute as much or little physical input as you choose
We will support your development through official courses and sharing our experience
Employee Learning Scheme can (when its running) contribute toward all sorts of training
Official training often includes: First Aid, VHF Radio, Survival at Sea, Spinnaker Sailing or Day Skipper
Events are organised at our monthly planning socials, come along to find out what's next
Attendee numbers are flexible - we hire a number of boats based on commitment and availability of skippers
Anyone can suggest or organise upcoming events - speak to one of the committee to discuss your ideas
Not all trips are boat based - could include on shore training, historic site visits and spectating races
